Victor, is made of Mahogany Solids and Mahogany Veneers with Cane door panels.   This item was purchased for 27000.00 4 years ago.  I called the company when this commanding piece came to my possession and found out that the E.J. Victor's Breakers Collection no longer incorporates "Cane" in to the piece like if formally has.  Cane is a long, hollow or pithy, jointed woody stem, as that of bamboo and certain palms.  By not using cane and substituting premium hardwoods, the Armoire price dropped 6000.00 retail.  This piece has the fantastic craftsmanship of Cane and is in impeccable condition.  Used only as a show piece and not for function, this piece measures 53 1/2"W X 25 1/2"D X 87"H.  Here is some information about the company:In creating E.J.
