I am selling this business because I have recently suffered a back injury at my full time job (powerwashing/house painting was my second job). The business you are bidding on is named Advanced Mega Wash. I have owned and operated it out of Toledo for the last year and a half. I assembled this equipment with the help of Heattech out of Port Huron Ohio. I origionally bought the hydro tek powerwasher out of California, and I bought the 1997 E350 van from an origional owner in Toledo Ohio whom I am personally aquainted with. The business name is NOT trade marked or registered. I was only able to do about one summers worth of work, so whoever wins this auction basically gets all the equipment which I will describe.....as well as the name, which the winner would have to trade mark and register through him/her self. There are no bank accounts, loans, or anything that carries over with this business. I suppose I should not say that I am selling a business... just everything you would need to operate a successful powerwashing business... right from the start.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So here we go.. here is what is included in this auction:_---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1). 1997 Ford E 350 van. --> This truck is a work horse. It has 148,000 miles on it. It has a new front end as of 2007 (completely re-done) as well as new tires, new ignition coils on the engine, and it is outfitted as a cargo van. The VIN number is 1FTJS34LXVHB24368 . Permanently mounted in the truck is an all diesel Hydrotek Hot pressure washer powered my a Kubota 2-cyl diesel. The powerwasher also heats using diesel fuel, so no kerosene is needed. The machine is rated at 3500 psi and 5.5 gallons per min. I had this machine looked over, inspected, and tested this spring. They measured 3300psi and 5.5gpm at the tip of the wand with the heat on and turned all the way up. The machine is looped to a 300 gallon water tank as pictured. When you let go of the handle, it routes the water back to the tank so that water is always circulating throught the CAT pump. this protects the pump from heat dammage. The pressure washer also has a mechanism that prevents that "pop" when you squeeze the wand. The pressure slowly builds up so that if you are on a ladder, or in a dangerous spot, it doesnt kick back. The powerwasher is in great operating condition, and has been outstanding for the limmited time that I have used it. This is run through downstream injection and can be turned on/off from the wand, Tide laundry detergent (great for awnings and fabrics).---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 9). All road cones, buckets, sprayers that are pictured are included------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ---------NOTE!!! The DAYTON KAROSENE HEATER PICTURED IS NOT >> I REPEAT NOT INCLUDED IN THIS AUCTION!! -( I used this to heat the inside of the truck while i took pictures)----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Things to mention from a maintenance standpoint:-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1). The van has some moderate rust on it behind the right rear wheel. It is because the last owner had the truck outfitted with tool boxes, and there was a small 6X6 inch area that trapped moisture that caused rusting,------------------- 2). The shifter on the steering wheel for some reason does not match with what gear the truck is in.... I have no idea why it is like this.... I usually just move the shifter down until the truck engages like it is in drive...it is usually not a problem. The truck also likes to move when it is in park. I usually solve this by putting the emergency brake on while the truck is not in motion.------------ 3). The power windows do not work. I think this coule be resolved with a simple fuse. They worked up until about a month ago. I haven't gotten a chance to go thru the fuses to find which one is blown.------------ 4). There is a crack that goes across the windshield.------------ 5). The powerwasher needs the thermostat replaced. I have already purchased the thermostat, I just need it installed. It is probably a 1 hour job for an afternoon. The heat still works, it is just up all the way and not adjustable.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- All other things are in great working order. This machine (van and washer) is a phenominal tool. I was able to pull in an amaizing amount of money with this equipment. I would powerwash houses and paint them after I was done (see my other auctions for the generator and sprayer). I also made a nice sum restoring decks. The possibilities are endless with this equipment. With the economy the way it is... it is nice to be self-employed. This setup can be operated through the winter since it is completely shielded from the outside weather. All of the competition usually carries their powerwashers on trailers, and have to stop business durring the winter. Last winter I made a nice sum by going out after ice storms and de-icing parking lots, side walks, and cars.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --IF the bidding goes over 11,000 dollars, I will include myself as a consult for the season of 2009 (spring and summer). If it is local , within 50 or 60 miles or so from Columbus OH, I will personally come to and help with the first 3 jobs to show how to run and operate the machinery and business. After that, I will offer myself as a phone/e-mail consult for the whole season to make sure that the winner knows how to operate the business inside out.
